[14]Ben Kingsley to Star in New William Shakespeare Flick

   Posted Sep 23rd 2007 8:02PM by [15]Jessica Barnes
   Filed under: [16]Drama, [17]Casting, [18]Deals
When you look at the resume of noted actor [19]Ben Kingsley, you
notice that for every good role he has done, there is [20]something a
little less dignified" right beside it (even earning him a spot on
[21]Jeffreys list of the Seven Most Overrated Actors). Luckily, it
doesnt look like his latest role will fall into that latter category.
The Hollywood Reporter [22]announced that Kingsley has signed on to
play William Shakespeare in the literary adaptation, Will. The film is
based on the [23]novel by Christopher Rush, and is a fictional account
of the playwright on his deathbed as he prepares his final will and
testament. The book was only just released, but managed to garner a
six-figure deal between the publisher and SBK Pictures (Kingsleys own
production company) for the film rights. The book is part biography
and part fiction, and Kingsley was quoted as saying, Christopher
wrote the most amazing, literate and entertaining novel Ive read in
years, and Im both honored and excited to be part of bringing Will
   to life.
If you are not a fan of the bard, Kingsley still has his share of
projects lined up for the coming year. He has just wrapped production
on [24]The Wackness with Mary Kate Olsen (which has the dubious
distinction of featuring an on-screen kiss between the two). Then its
   off to the Hitchcock-inspired mystery [25]Number 13 with [26]Ewan
McGregor and [27]Dan Fogler (Fanboys) as Alfred Hitchcock and [28]The
Love Guru with Mike Myers. Last but not least, it has been announced
that Kingsley will be joining the the Coens comedy caper [29]Gambit,
with Colin Firth. Will is expected to begin shooting in the UK
   sometime next year.

[35]White Jazz Scribe Matthew Carnahan Signs with DreamWorks for The
Zebra Murders

   Posted Sep 23rd 2007 6:32PM by [36]Jessica Barnes
   Filed under: [37]Scripts & Screenwriting, [38]Dreamworks, [39]Tom
   Cruise, [40]Brad Pitt, [41]George Clooney
While its too early to tell if [42]Matthew Carnahans first script,
[43]The Kingdom, will be a hit, you cant help but admire a guy that
seemed to come out of nowhere (although he is the brother of director
Joe Carnahan). Carnahan has already sold three other scripts that have
snagged some of the biggest names in the movie business; [44]George
Clooney, [45]Tom Cruise, and [46]Brad Pitt to name a few. Now, in
[47]an interview with Ropes of Silicon, the writer is already talking
about his next project. Carnahan will be writing a crime thriller
based on the infamous Zebra Murders that took place in San Francisco
in the early 70s. There have already been a couple of [48]books
written on the subject, but I would guess that most people are not
that familiar with the crimes that took place between 1973 and 1974.
Over the course of one year, a group of serial killers with
connections to the nationalist group, The Nation of Islam, were
responsible for the muders of 16 people; they called themselves The
Death Angels. It has been reported that the group [49]believed that
they could earn points" towards Paradise when they died if they
killed as many whites as possible. Finally, in 1975, and after one of
the longest trials in California history, Larry Green, J.C.X. Simon,
Manuel Moore and Jessie Lee Cooks were convicted of first-degree
murder and conspiracy, and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Carnahan is working with DreamWorks on Zebra, and told Ropes, Its
just such a little gem of a story. If I can put two sentences together
I think hopefully people will want to be involved. Carnahan is
planning on focusing the story on the racial tensions in the city at
the time. But, it will ultimately revolve around the two
African-American policemen who were instrumental in the capture of the
Angels. There is no official word on the project yet, but judging by
Carnahans relatively short yet successful track record, I doubt it
will take long until we hear something more definite.

[56]Denzel Washington and Tony Scott will Reunite for The Taking of Pelham
One Two Three, Sources Say

   Posted Sep 23rd 2007 5:03PM by [57]Jessica Barnes
   Filed under: [58]Action & Adventure, [59]Thrillers, [60]Casting,
   [61]Deals, [62]Sony, [63]RumorMonger, [64]Remakes and Sequels
It seems that director [65]Tony Scott cant get enough of remakes --
and [66]Denzel Washington, for that matter. Sources for Entertainment
Weekly are [67]reporting that Washington and Scott are in negotiations
to re-team for the remake of the 1974 action thriller, [68]The Taking
of Pelham One Two Three. The original film starred [69]Walter Matthau
and [70]Jerry Stiller, and was based on the [71]novel by Morton
Freedgood (under the pseudonym John Godey). The story centered on a
grizzled New York Transit cop sent to stop a group of terrorists who
have hijacked a subway car for a million dollar ransom. Washington
would reportedly play Matthaus role of the cop. This would be the
second attempt at a remake for the film; the first was a
[72]made-for-TV movie in 1998 with [73]Edward James Olmos and
   [74]Vincent DOnofrio.
So far, Sony has stayed quiet on the rumored Pelham negotiations. But,
Washington and Scott have made three previous films ([75]Crimson Tide,
[76]Man on Fire, and [77]Deja Vu), so they must enjoy working with one
another. Scott still has his other 70s remake reportedly in
production; [78]Walter Hills, [79]The Warriors. Although, it has been
[80]a while since anyone has heard a peep out of that project.
Washington, on the other hand, has [81]American Gangster (directed by
Tonys big-brother, Ridley) headed for theaters on November 2,
followed by the family-friendly drama [82]The Great Debaters on
Christmas Day. So providing everyone can coordinate their schedules, I
wouldnt be surprised if Pelham joins the [83]growing slate of
productions headed for the fast-track before the [84]dreaded
   Hollywood Strike" begins.

[90]Sally Field to Star in Spielbergs Lincoln?

   Posted Sep 23rd 2007 3:32PM by [91]Erik Davis
   Filed under: [92]Drama, [93]Casting, [94]RumorMonger,
   [95]DIY/Filmmaking, [96]Newsstand, [97]Steven Spielberg

Though we havent heard much about [98]Steven Spielbergs Abraham
Lincoln biopic, [99]Lincoln, Newsweek seems to think [100]Sally Field
has been cast as Lincolns wife, Mary Todd Lincoln. All we know so far
is that [101]Liam Neeson has signed to play Lincoln, and according to
IMDb, [102]Marcia Gay Harden was rumored to be up for the role of Mary
Todd. But things seemed to be put on hold once Spielberg decided to
direct [103]Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls, and
with a strike looming, we werent sure whether the director would have
time to helm another film -- let alone which film that would be.

But in a [104]Newsweek article discussing a new exhibit at the Abraham
Lincoln Presidential Library, Mary Todd Lincoln: First Lady of
Controversy, they come right out and say that Liam Neeson and Sally
Field will be playing Lincoln and Mary Todd respectively in the new
Spielberg film. In her later years, Mary Todd was committed to an
insane asylum, but only after three of her four kids had died and her
husband was shot to death while she held his hand. But was she really
insane? Spielberg will base his film on the book [105]Team of Rivals:
The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, by Doris Kearns Goodwin.
According to the Amazon description, Team of Rivals doesnt just tell
the story of Abraham Lincoln. It is a multiple biography of the entire
team of personal and political competitors that he put together to
lead the country through its greatest crisis. Here, Doris Kearns
Goodwin profiles five of the key players in her book, four of whom
contended for the 1860 Republican presidential nomination and all of
whom later worked together in Lincolns cabinet. Sally Field is
currently starring on the TV show Brothers & Sisters (for which she
just won an Emmy), and so for her to be able to take on the role, I
assume shell have to do so while the show is on hiatus. As of now,
   nothing is official.

[111]George Lucas Talks More Star Wars TV

   Posted Sep 23rd 2007 2:03PM by [112]Erik Davis
   Filed under: [113]Action & Adventure, [114]Animation, [115]Sci-Fi &
   Fantasy, [116]Fandom, [117]DIY/Filmmaking, [118]Newsstand, [119]George
Lucas, [120]Home Entertainment, [121]Remakes and Sequels

In a [122]two-part interview with TV Guide, [123]George Lucas talked
some more about those two Star Wars TV series he currently has in the
works. Youll remember that one Star Wars-related show -- the one
thats the furthest along -- is animated, and will take place during
the Clone Wars (or, more specifically, between Episode II and Episode
III). The other series will be live action, and will take place
between Episode III and Episode IV. But before you get all excited,
thinking Darth Vader will make his first-ever appearance on the small
   screen -- keep reading.

On the animated series, Lucas said: Unfortunately, it doesnt fall
into the realm of what animation [typically] is, which is either
adult, kind of off-color humor or kiddie stuff. This is, like Star
Wars, sort of in between those two things. Its a lot of battle stuff,
and its obviously the Clone Wars, so its a war picture. So its kind
of a PG-13 animated TV series, which is something that has never been
done before and obviously doesnt fit in any of the conventional slots
that these things fall into. In that, its very different, and I think
its very exciting. Its got a very, very sophisticated look to it.
Its very much like the features. Were still trying to figure out how
to put it on the air. Lucas went on to say that theyre on episode 40
right now, out of 100, and will look to put it on the air once theyve
arrived somewhere between 50 and 60 episodes. He also said that it
wouldnt be a Saturday Morning Cartoon, and because of the content,
will most likely air after 9 oclock at night.

Regarding the live action series, Lucas said theyll first start
writing it in about a month from now. He continued: The live-action
[series] is not the movie. Its the Star Wars universe, but its
characters from the saga who were [previously] minor, and it follows
their stories. Its set between [movie episodes] III and IV, when the
Empire has taken over. Its like Episode IV in that the Emperor and
Darth Vader are heard about - people talk about them - but you never
see them because it doesnt take place where they actually are. There
are storm troopers and all that, but there are no Jedis. Its
different, but I think its very exciting because I get to explore a
part of that universe that I havent been able to explore. As far as
episodes go, like the animated series, theyre shooting for 100. So,
are you excited about these? And which series do you think has the
   most potential?

[129]Quentin Tarantino and Ten Other Unsexy Directors

   Posted Sep 23rd 2007 12:32PM by [130]Erik Davis
   Filed under: [131]Fandom, [132]DIY/Filmmaking, [133]Quentin Tarantino,
   [134]Lists

Recently, director [135]Quentin Tarantino said that hed love to make
a cool sex movie that would take place in Stockholm, with a couple of
Americans visiting a couple of Swedish friends ... just going out,
drinking, having a good time, hooking up. Yeah, tell it to The
Weinstein Co. -- Im sure after [136]Grindhouse, theyd love to take a
chance on a Tarantino sex flick, considering the fact that it would
almost certainly be rated NC-17. While Tarantino might be able to
imitate other sexy directors to the best of his ability, we all know
thered be no originality and, most likely, it would stick to one
level below porn ... but with a kick ass soundtrack.

With that in mind, [137]Vulture put together a list of ten directors
who would make an even unsexier movie than Quentin Tarantino -- going
so far as to imagine how the directors themselves would pitch it.
Among those on the list, we have folks like [138]Oliver Stone (It
would take place in Vietnam, with a couple of American GIs visiting
their friends . . . just going out drinking, committing atrocities,
hooking up), [139]Paul Greengrass ("It would take place in London,
Vienna, Prague, Bangkok, Sydney, and New York, with an international
spy searching for the truth of his existence. In between
waterboardings, he hooks up with his CIA handler), [140]M. Night
Shyamalan (It would take place in Philadelphia, with a guy having sex
with a bunch of women, but in the end, you would find out that the
main character has been hallucinating it all, and actually hes just
been masturbating), [141]Woody Allen ("It would take place in New
York, with a guy reliving the women hes loved over his life, in
homage to Fellinis 8 1/2. I would play the man and would have sweaty
sex with Scarlett Johansson, Beyoncé Knowles, Lauren Conrad, Mary-Kate
and Ashley Olsen, and Emily Blunt), and my personal favorite,
[142]Mel Gibson (It would take place in ancient Egypt, be performed
completely in hieroglyphics, and consist of 117 minutes of a slave
   being beaten to death.)

Swing on over there to check out the rest of the list, and the quotes,
then come back here and see if you can come up with your own. Which
unsexy directors did they leave off the list? Are there any other
directors out there who couldnt direct a sexy movie even if their
   life depended on it?

[147]Fantastic Fest Review: Selected Shorts #2

Heres another batch of shorts that are screening at Fantastic Fest in
Austin this week in front of many of the festivals feature films.
(Ive already written about [157]one batch.) Ive had the most fun
watching all the shorts -- Id forgotten how much I enjoy a film that
resolves itself in less than 15 minutes. There are still so many
shorts I hope to see during the festival and wasnt able to review
beforehand, like Les Petits Hommes Vieux, It Came from the West and In
the Wall. The festival programmers have told us so many times how sick
and appalling Garys Touch is, that Im simultaneously warning myself
away and feeling like I ought to give it a shot.

[163]Eli Roth to Write and Direct Heroes: Origins

   Posted Sep 23rd 2007 9:32AM by [164]Matt Bradshaw
   Filed under: [165]Action & Adventure, [166]Horror, [167]Sci-Fi &
   Fantasy, [168]Comic/Superhero/Geek
While you might expect to see [169]Heroes coverage over at our sister
site [170]TV Squad, this falls into Cinematicals zone of influence
because [171]Eli Roth -- director of [172]Cabin Fever, both of the
[173]Hostel movies and the fake trailer for Thanksgiving from
[174]Grindhouse -- is making a presumably temporary jump to the small
screen. Heroes, of course, is the hit NBC series set in a world in
which a handful of people suddenly find themselves gifted (or cursed)
with super human abilities like flight, telepathy, mind control, etc.
The spin-off series [175]Heroes: Origins is a vehicle for introducing
new characters as they discover their powers.
Roth will both write and direct an episode of Origins. The more I
think about this, the more I think that if Roth had been brought on
board for Heroes the first season, he would have been a natural for
the episode in which Claire Bennett, the cheerleader with healing
powers played by [176]Hayden Panetierre, wakes up in the middle of her
own autopsy and has to manually close the incision in her chest.
Sounds like a classic Roth moment to me.
The show seems to be on a quest to put some big names behind the
camera. [177]Quentin Tarantino stated recently that he wasnt
interested in directing an episode of the regular series, but
[178]Kevin Smith is on board to direct and [179]Michael Dougherty,
screenwriter for [180]X2: X-Men United and [181]Superman Returns will
be penning an episode of Origins as well. I got hooked on Heroes right
at the beginning and Im curious to see what Roth and these others
bring to the show. What about you?

[188]Teeth Finally Gets a Release Date!

Although I didnt get to see the horror-comedy [196]Teeth when it
first premiered at last years Sundance Film Festival, I did get to
experience the film while covering the Berlin International Film
Festival back in February, as well as [197]sit down for a little
one-on-one time with the flicks star, [198]Jess Weixler. For those
who may have forgotten about Teeth, or never heard of it before, its
the one about the girl with teeth in her vagina. Yup, not joking. Its
warped, its bizarre, its a tad nasty ... but its so much fun to
watch. Personally, Ive been waiting a long time for this film to be
released, and now [199]Fangoria reports that Roadside Attractions will
shovel it into theaters in New York and Los Angeles on November 30,
with the film expanding nationwide in mid-December.

Directed by the very friendly (and talented) [200]Mitchell
Lichtenstein, Teeth follows Dawn (Weixler); a teen abstinence preacher
whos always avoided sexual contact because of a little problem she
has down there. Suffering from a rare case of vagina dentata," Dawn
goes about her business telling kids not to have sex, until she,
herself, feels the need to start experimenting with a boy shes grown
fond of. From there, lets just say all the guys in the audience might
find it hard to watch the events unfold. Im a big fan of actress Jess
Weixler, who also starred in another little-seen indie gem, [201]The
Big Bad Swim, and look forward to seeing what future projects she
takes on. But do yourself a favor and go see Teeth when it comes out.
Its a fun film that deserves a little more attention. For more, check
out [202]Kims review and [203]Scotts review of the film from
   Sundance.

[208]Weinsteins Target Navy Seals

So before you get all excited; no, the Weinsteins are not remaking the
   1990 [215]Charlie Sheen and [216]Michael Biehn action [217]classic.
Instead, Variety [218]reports that the Weinsteins have announced their
first joint-production with Exodus Films: the animated family film,
Navy Seals. Justin Eick has [219]reportedly signed to pen the script
for the CG flick about an elite group of Navy super dolphins" (and
even though theyre dolphins, Im holding out for [220]frickin laser
beams attached to their frickin heads) who are captured by some bad
guys. Their only hope for escape is a rag-tag group of neighboring
seals -- and were talking actual seals, by the way, flippers and all.
Exodus chief executive was quoted as saying the story was inspired
by the very real heroics that marine mammals have played in the
defense of our country. -- which might be a little heavy-handed for a
   family comedy, dont you think?
The Weinsteins and Exodus first crossed paths when TWC picked up
Exodus first animated feature, [221]Igor. That film is set for
release on October 24 and [222]stars John Cusack (as Igor), [223]John
Cleese, and [224]Steve Buscemi. Seals will be the first co-production
to come out of the partnership that was announced during the Cannes
festival earlier this year. Now, both companies will work together as
a one-stop shop to develop, produce, and finance a slate of animated
films. Its [225]no secret that the Weinsteins have had a rough year
when it comes to the bottom line, and so you cant blame TWC for
wanting to cover their bets with two animated films. I just hope
   theyre ready for [226]the [227]competition.

[233]TIFF Interview: Ping Pong Playa Writer/Director Jessica Yu

One of the most dynamic female documentarians today, [240]Jessica Yu,
has made the big jump into narrative features with the Asian
American-led comedy, [241]Ping Pong Playa. The film is about a
carefree guy named C-Dub, who would rather gripe about his missed
basketball prospects than get a solid job or take up the family sport
of ping pong -- that is, until his mother and brother are hurt, and he
has to save the familys honor at the ping pong championship.
Cinematical got a chance to chat with Jessica, after the world
premiere of the film, about how she got into narrative features, what
its like to make a ping pong movie, and whats next on the docket.
Cinematical: How are you enjoying the fest so far?
Jessica Yu: Oh, its been great.
Cinematical: Is this your first TIFF?
JY: Yeah... I had a short here a long time ago, but it was a short...
   Cinematical: Sour Death Balls?
Yeah, I think it was Sour Death Balls. Yeah, Im pretty sure that was
it. So anyway, its nice to be here.
Cinematical: You used to be on the US National Fencing Team, but you
ended up doing a film about ping pong. Can you tell us a little about
   that?
JY: Why I turned my back on my fencing brethren? Well, I think that
theres just something about the idea of a less-than-marquis sport.
For a while, I wanted the film to be about badminton. Thank god its
not about badminton, because trying to CGI a badminton birdie... We
didnt have to CGI Jimmy [Tsai]. He trained like you wouldnt believe,
so he could really play. But for some of our other actors, we had to
CGI some stuff. If we had a birdie... forget it. Im glad it didnt
   turn out to be that.

[247]IFC to Test Day-and-Date Waters with Two New Films

According to [258]The Hollywood Reporter, IFC Films is going to
release two new star-driven movies in theaters and On Demand on the
same day. The films will be released by First Take, the day-and-date"
division of IFC. Previous attempts at day-and-date films have been
extremely controversial with theater owners, who often refuse to book
the movies, claiming, perhaps rightfully so, Why would anyone leave
the house and come to our theater if they can get the movie in the
comfort of their own home? Currently, Todd Wagner and Mark Cubans
Landmark Theaters are one of the few chains who will book day-and-date
films, and even have their own day-and-date program, Sneak Preview.
Ill stop saying day-and-date, I promise. You can read genius
Cinematical writer Patrick Walshs report on Steven Soderberghs
adventures with the distribution practice [259]here, and Ryans
   interview with Cuban right [260]here.

What are the two new films? The crime drama [261]Savage Grace,
directed by [262]Tom Kalin (his first feature-length film since 1992s
Leopold and Loeb story Swoon) stars [263]Julianne Moore and [264]Hugh
Dancy. Grace tells the true story of socialite Barbara Daly
Baekelands 1972 murder, and was a $5 million production.
[265]Finishing the Game, a Bruce Lee mockumentary, was directed by
[266]Justin Lin (the very cool Better Luck Tomorrow, Fast and the
Furious 2: Tokyo Drift). Game features cameos by [267]James Franco
and...uh...[268]MC Hammer (howd they get Hammer to sign on? Offer him
a hot meal?), and imagines the recasting of Lees final role in Game
of Death before filming was completed. You can read Scotts generally
positive Sundance review of Death [269]here. Grace will premiere in
theaters and on IFC next year; Death next month.

[274]Simon Pegg and Nick Frost to Write and Star in Paul

   Posted Sep 22nd 2007 2:02PM by [275]Patrick Walsh
   Filed under: [276]Comedy, [277]Casting, [278]Fandom, [279]Scripts &
   Screenwriting, [280]Home Entertainment

Fans of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz (i.e. pretty much everybody)
rejoice! The stars of those films, [281]Simon Pegg and [282]Nick Frost
are teaming up again for a movie called Paul. Pegg and Frost are
writing the screenplay, but this one will not be a full Shaun/Fuzz
reunion, as director [283]Edgar Wright is not involved. The director
for Paul has yet to be chosen. Pegg tells [284]MTV Movies Blog the
film is a road movie about two British geeks in America," and it will
be shot here in the U.S. Sorry, I know that doesnt tell you much! The
film will not have the usual Pegg-ripping-on-Frost dynamic theyve
perfected. Pegg says, No, its different actually. Im the bitch in
this one. This time Simons the bitch!

For my money, Pegg is not quite as hilarious as his British comedian
compatriots Ricky Gervais (I bow to The Office) and Steve Coogan (just
now getting into Its Alan Partridge and loving it), but he does make
me laugh. Hes becoming a major player in the states, starring in the
new romantic comedy [285]Run, Fat Boy, Run (you can read James
   not-quite-a-rave-but-not-quite-a-pan review [286]here), and
co-starring in the upcoming [287]How to Lose Friends and Alienate
People. I loved Shaun, and was on the fence with Hot Fuzz until the
glorious shoot-em-up finale made me a believer. Speaking of Pegg and
Frost, does anyone have any idea how to get their television program
Spaced on DVD here in America? I know its online here and there, but
I detest watching anything longer than two minutes on my computer.
   Thanks!

[292]Review: Silk

   Posted Sep 22nd 2007 12:32PM by [293]James Rocchi
   Filed under: [294]Drama, [295]Romance, [296]Theatrical Reviews,
   [297]Toronto International Film Festival, [298]Picturehouse
[299]Silk demonstrates a growingly frequent conundrum of modern
moviemaking -- namely, what do you do when the departures from the
formulaic, repetitive, predictable mainstream are, in their way, just
as formulaic, repetitive and predictable? Based on Allesandro
Barricos novel, Silk tells the story of a 19th-Century man who leaves
France, and the woman he loves, to travel into the heart of Japan --
where few Westerners have been -- to bring back silkworm eggs to help
stop a devastating plague thats wiping out the European industry. On
his journeys to Japan, he becomes obsessed by the concubine of the
local warlord -- so much that he returns again and again, despite the
risk and expense, in the hopes of one more glimpse of her.
Silk is also, in less specific language, another in an endless series
of pretty, vapid period pieces where the exquisitely tailored costumes
hide racing hearts -- a by-now standard tale of passion under
petticoats, strong connections under starched collars. It is also
another period piece where a distant land and a distant love
supposedly inflame our protagonist, but the ponderous, lumbering slow
chill restraint in the staging sucks any connection and passion and
heated risk out of the film. Finally, even with the stage set for
globe-trotting clichés and reheated concepts, the films dealt a
mortal blow by the casting of actors who are, bluntly, out of their
depth -- and not thrown a rope by director Francois Girard.

[305]George Clooney Injured in Motorcycle Accident

   Posted Sep 22nd 2007 11:02AM by [306]Erik Davis
Filed under: [307]Celebrities and Controversy, [308]Newsstand

Fear not ladies, hes OK! While driving his motorcycle in what appears
to be Weehawken, New Jersey, [309]George Clooney and friend Sarah
Larson collided with another vehicle they were apparently trying to
pass from the right-hand side, so [310]says Variety. The accident
occurred yesterday afternoon. Clooney suffered a broken rib and some
scrapes, and Larson suffered a broken foot. Ouch. From the looks of
it, Clooney sped up to pass a car on the right (something youre not
allowed to do in Jersey), with intentions of making a right turn.
However, the car beside him crossed into the right lane and collided
with Clooney. No word on whether that car, a 1999 Mazda (this is
Jersey, George, not Beverly Hills) had its turn signal on.

A spokesman for the Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, New
Jersey said Clooney has a broken rib, its very painful and itll
take a long time to heal. Currently, Clooney has several films in
different stages of production. Hed been shooting [311]Leatherheads
back in July (when [312]images surfaced from the set), and according
to IMDb hes currently filming the Coen Bros. next film, [313]Burn
After Reading. No word on whether either film will be delayed because
of the accident (Im not sure how long it takes for someone to be able
to work with a broken rib -- never had one myself). The accident is
still under investigation; right now its a he said/she said sort of
thing. Nothing against motorcycles, and the people that drive them,
but here in New York folks just do what they want --riding between
lanes, swerving in and out of traffic. It gets real annoying. But as
long as everyone is fine, and not seriously injured -- thats what
really counts. Clooneys next film, [314]Michael Clayton, arrives in
   theaters next month.
